This comment from a happy Fishtrapper: " I was a first-timer at Fishtrap this summer in Joanne Mulcahy's Cultural Passages workshop and loved it. What an experience to be surrounded by people who had come to think and reflect and write; it made for a high-powered workshop as well as some great dinner table conversations."
Another participant writes: "Deeply moving, in a most unexpected and curious way, Fishtrap's Summer gathering and workshops have become essential to my journey--and a most joyful welcome to the breath of the world"
Thanks to all who helped make the event a huge success!
Workshop Leader Reels in THE BIG ONE!
Western Oregon University English professor Henry Hughes came to Summer Fishtrap to lead a poetry workshop and ended up making news with this record-breaking catch from Wallowa Lake. The Statesman Journal has a nice story, as does the La Grande Observer.
Here's the link to the workshops that were held.
